Interlibrary Loan Procedures

Online interlibrary loan service is available to our state government customers who have an ODL Library Card.

Requests for Interlibrary Loan are to be sent to us electronically. However, if you have a list of job-related books or journal articles needed, it can be brought to the library, faxed (405.525.7804) or mailed, attention Interlibrary Loan. For additional help call the Interlibrary Loan office 405.522.3473 or use the department contact form.

WorldCat

To use WorldCat, you will need an authorization and password. If you do not have one, call 522.3505. Only State Government employees with an up-to-date library card will be given this information. To proceed:

1. From the ODL Quick Search page, click on Interlibrary Loan and select State Library ILL.
2. Log in and search for the item you require.
3. After the item is found, click Borrow This Item.
4. Log in or create an Illiad account.

Illiad

To use Illiad you will need to register a username and password. The username must be at least six characters long. You alone will know your username/password though if you lose your password, come by the reference desk at ODL to get it reset.

1. After logging in, verify that the item is the one you want.
2. Click Submit
3. You will receive an email telling you when the item is ready for pick up. Please do not respond to the email.
